Set against the stunning backdrop of Rio de Janeiro, the film showcases spectacular footage of the city and its rich marine wildlife — sea turtles, dolphins, rays, fish, and octopuses — within a unique ecosystem.
The film tells the stories of scientists, artisanal fishers, and Ocean enthusiasts, highlighting innovative initiatives aimed at ensuring a sustainable future. It demonstrates how the Blue Economy can create new opportunities for Rio de Janeiro, driving sectors such as tourism, marine biotechnology, ecosystem restoration, and responsible fishing. From mangrove restoration to the creation of sustainable jobs, the documentary illustrates how tradition, innovation, and scientific knowledge are being applied to balance progress and conservation.
